Salinger’s “Personal Notes” discussed at Tehran center

TEHRAN,Oct.14(MNA) -- David Salinger’s “Personal Notes of an Infantryman” was reviewed during a session at Tehran’s Ferdows Cultural Center on Sunday. The Persian version of the book was released by Sabzan Publications in 2008. The Book was translated into Persian by Ali Shieh-Ali. The book is about an old man who tries to enlist in the military, and then goes overseas into combat with a surprise ending.
