SAR TEAM SEARCHES MISSING CESSNA PLANE IN WEST JAVA

Purwakarta, W. Java, Nov 18 (ANTARA) - A total of 86 Search and Rescue (SAR) team personnel on Friday began searching Cessna C-172 PK skyhawk plane that went missing on Wednesday (Nov 16) in West Java, Antara learned here Friday. The focus of searching the ill-fated plane by land and air was conducted at Mount Burangrang, Cihanjawar village, Bojong sub-district, Purwakarta district, West Java. The training aircraft belonging to PT Nusa Flying School, manned by its pilot Partogi with two aviation students namely Fikri,18 and Agung,20 was allegedly crashed at an identified location, a senior pilot Saleh Sudrajat,55 said here on Friday. According to him, the Cessna plane was allegedly crashed at 10.00 am western Indonesian standard time (WIB) during its flight from Halim Perdanakusuma airport to the West Java`s Budiarto airport. In addition, Lingga Satria, one of PT Nusa Flying School students said that it was the final stage of flight of the unlucky three victims after their graduation day on Tuesday (Nov 15).
