Saudi ambassador lauds royal Egypt visit success

Manama, May 2 (BNA): The Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdulla Abdul Malik Al-Sheikh has congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the success of his recent visit to Egypt. The royal visit re-affirms the keenness of HM King Hamad and leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to bolster relations and cooperation between the GCC and Arab and Islamic countries, the ambassador said. He also highlighted the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to unify stances and enhance Arab and international solidarity in combating terrorism all over the world, lauding the steps taken by HM King Hamad and King Salman to promote regional and global peace. The ambassador was speaking as he announced that the Saudi Embassy's Diwaniya would be open the first Wednesday of every month. In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the ambassador said the Saudi Embassy's Diwaniya has become a distinctive diplomatic landmark that attracts key personalities, Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to Bahrain and the members of the Saudi community in Bahrain, which, he said, reflects the solid ties between the two sisterly kingdoms.
