Saudi Arabia affirms support to Bahrain

Riyadh, July 31 (BNA): The security of Bahrain and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states is inseparable, said Saudi Ambassador to Manama Dr. Abdulla bin Abdul Malik Al-Sheikh. In a statement to Saudi Alriyadh newspaper, he stressed his country's firm rejection of any interference in Bahrain's interference or subversive designs targeting its security and stability. He commended the efforts of the security forces which uncovered the caches used by terrorists to store the explosives, weapons and ammunition they obtain from the forces of evil which aid and abet them. He cited in this regard the success of the security forces in thwarting an attempt to smuggle into Bahrain a large quantity of explosives, weapons and ammunition by sea He paid tribute to Bahrain's security forces, whose alertness enabled them to foil the attempt and arrest the terrorists red-handed, adding that the perpetrators admitted to being trained by the forces of evil to serve their agenda. Dr. Al-Sheikh lauded deep-rooted historic relations, reiterating his country's firm stances regarding the security and stability of the Arabian Gulf region. "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia adopts an official policy based on a firm rejection of interference in the internal affairs of any country from any side", he said, reiterating his country's steadfast stances when it comes to the security and stability of the GCC states.
