Saudi Press: Riyadh Agreement on Yemen is Decisive Turning Point in History of Region

Riyadh, Nov. 05, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Riyadh agreement that has been reached between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council is seen as result of a sincere and great effort exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The paper noted that the agreement which will be signed today under the leadership of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in presence of Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, constitutes an important and decisive turning point in the history of the region. The paper added that the agreement will effectively contribute to stopping the daily fighting, conflict, and destruction being run in Yemen by Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia. --SPA
