SCE vice president congratulates HH Shaikh Nasser, HH Shaikh Khalid

Manama, Oct. 15 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), congratulated His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and SCYS’s Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on Bahrain’s ranking first in the world for holding the half-marathon race, out of 493 races. HH Shaikh Faisal affirmed that this achievement proves the sport leap Bahrain has achieved, thanks to HH Shaikh Nasser. He noted that HH’s determination makes everything possible, which led Bahrain to highest rankings in sports. His highness also congratulated SCYS’s First Deputy Chairman and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, praising Shaikh Khalid’s support and efforts to overcome obstacles to host such international sport events in the Kingdom.
