Sci-tech Achievements Made in Agricultural Field

Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Agricultural Science in the DPRK puts spurs to the settlement of sci-tech problems, amid the brisk campaign for scientific farming to implement the decisions of the April 2018 Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. With the goal to expand the introduction of nano-silicon fertilizer throughout the country, the academy helped each province build its production base and pushed ahead with securing nano materials and addictives for its production. After developing efficient insecticide, the academy has settled sci-tech problems arising in the establishment of insecticide production process in different counties, cities and provinces. It also pays deep attention to applying high-yield seeds registered by the state and breeding various high-yielding crops. Meanwhile, it has made precious sci-tech achievements one after another in its research for increased production of livestock, fruits, hothouse vegetables and mushroom. -0-
