Sci-Tech Presentation and Exhibition in Field of Welding Opens

Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation and exhibition in the field of welding was opened with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex on Tuesday, under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea. More than 70 papers and exhibits are presented to it with attendance of scientists, technicians, teachers, researchers and graduate students from scores of units, including the Welding Institute of the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang University of Architecture and Pyongyang University of Railways. There will be lectures on new technologies and a work for showing during the presentation and exhibition, which will last till May 18. -0-
