Science Academy of Iran ready for cooperation with Kazakhstan

Astana, Nov 9, IRNA – Head of Science Academy of Iran Reza Davari-Aredekani said here Saturday in a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart that the Iranian academy is ready for cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan. “Keeping in mind the commonalties between our two scientific organizations, Iran is ready for cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan,” said Dr. Davari after elaborating on the administrative structure of the Science Academy of Iran and its duties and responsibilities for his Kazakh counterpart. Davari who arrived in Astana last Tuesday on an invitation by the Iranian Cultural Attaché to give a lecture at the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan and to participate in its programs in the meeting also surveyed the draft of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two countries’ science academies during the meeting. After the meeting Davari left Astana for Moscow to present an article at the Science Academy of Russia./end
