SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON KOREAN LANGUAGE HELD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Mongolian State University (MSU), a scientific conference titled "Training of Mongolian and Korean languages and teaching Korean language in foreign languages" was held on Friday in the MSU. Co-organized by the Korean Language Training Association of the Republic of Korea and the MSU's School of Foreign Languages and Culture, the conference was divided into two sections that focused on teaching Korean language to foreigners, and origins of both Mongolian and Korean languages. This is the very first conference to be organized abroad by the Korean Language Training Association. The School of Foreign Languages and Culture teaches 14 European and Asian languages, and the department of Korean studies was established in 1991. B.Khuder
