Scientific conference on past independence struggle held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The General Archival Authority, together with the National University of Mongolia last Saturday held a scientific conference on the 1911 National Independency Movement. A valuable support was rendered by the Mongolian Studies Center of the Ulaanbaatar University to organize the event on occasion of the 102nd anniversary of restoring the national freedom and independence of Mongolia. At the event with a participation of some fifty academicians, a department director at the Defense Ministry D.Monkhjargal gave a lecture on ‘Independence of Mongolia: State and Politics Successions’, while Ph.D. J.Urangoo had presentation on ‘Socio-economic development of Independent Mongolia (1911-1921)’. After another lecture on ‘Five road battles’ by B.Batsuren from the History Institution, a session of question-answer, and debates were conducted among the gathered.
