SCW, Al Salam Bank explore cooperation

Manama, Aug. 4 (BNA): The Supreme Council of Women (SCW)'s General Secretariat had a meeting with Al Salam Bank Bahrain during which the two sides explored the means of activation of the National Model for the inclusion of women's needs in banking. The meeting also explored the essential provision of policy and ancillary services for women in the workplace, including a nursery for children of bank employees after a feasibility study by the bank to determine the need for the said service and to support the recruitment of handicapped persons in financial and banking institutions. The meeting discussed the challenges obstructing women's assuming leading posts, cultural and social issues, especially women's nighttime office duty and the aspirations of women in career progression.
