SEA President discusses cooperation with Hempel company

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza held a remote meeting today with the German branch of Hempel company, presided by regional Director Christophe Lepeltier. Dr. Mirza praised the unlimited support accorded by His Majesty the King to SEA and provided an overview of the renewable energy initiatives, energy competence and the investment opportunities incorporated in the national plan for renewable energy and energy competence. He also highlighted the achievements brought about in the sustainable energy sector in Bahrain. Within the same context, Dr. Mirza cast light on the initiatives taken by SEA to develop the sustainable energy sector and serve the national public interest in accordance with the development vision of the government. The representatives of Hempel company lauded the remarkable growth in the sustainable energy sector and expressed keenness on possessing a number of renewable energy certificates to avail of them in using clean and environment-friendly energy for their Bahrain-based establishments. They voiced interest in SEA’s initiative regarding the renewable energy initiatives to back the company’s efforts in achieving its social goals and contribution to the international efforts to reduce the impact of climate change by investing in clean energy.
