Searches continued for missing Myanmar worker in sunken cargo ship in Thai South

KRABI, THAILAND, December 30 (TNA) - Searches have been continued for a Myanmar male worker who went missing when a cargo ship sank at the Rantee Bay of the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand's southern resort Krabi Province on Monday afternoon. Local police and divers on Tuesday morning resumed the search for U, the 29-year-old missing Myanmar worker, after strong waves halted the mission overnight. Mu, the missing worker's younger brother, told reporters that his elder brother might be trapped in the ship as he was sleeping upon the time of the incident and the man could not swim. The sunken cargo ship, with 17 people aboard before the incident, has rested on the seabed about 20 metres under water. (TNA)
