Self-sufficiency Achieved In Veterinary Medicine

Tabriz, E. Azarbaijan Prov., Oct 29, IRNA – Seyed Mostafa Azizian, General Director of Pharmaceuticals, Medical Treatment and Laboratories Department at Iran Veterinary Organization, said on Sunday that Iran is 95 percent self-sufficient in production of veterinary medicine. Azizian told IRNA on the sidelines of a meeting with veterinary directors general in Tabriz that 60 percent of raw materials for the products are imported. He hoped for self-sufficiency in indigenization of producing raw materials./end
