Senate President Receives Courtesy Call From Polish Ambassador

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 30 (Bernama) -- Senate president Abu Zahar Ujang on Monday received a courtesy call from Polish Ambassador to Malaysia Adam Jelonek in his office at the Parliament building here. During the one-hour meeting, Jelonek (left) conveyed to Abu Zahar (right) the Speaker of the Polish Senate's intention to visit Malaysia in September. "We accept with an open heart and will fix the date for the visit after discussing the matter with Prime Minister Najib Razak," Abu Zahar told reporters after the meeting with Jelonek. He said they also discussed the good relations between Poland and Malaysia in various fields. "They want existing relations between Malaysia and Poland to be further enhanced, like the medical student exchange programme," he added. (photoBERNAMA) MALAYSIA
