Several huge architecture objects to be build in Kazakhstan's Almaty

Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov 3. By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Architecture and city planning department of Kazakh “south capital”, Almaty approved four new construction projects, the website of city’s executive body reported. The meeting was attended by Almaty’s mayor Akhmetzhan Yesimov. Among the projects approved for construction is a hotel complex in the Almaty district in Kabanbai Batyr street. Akhmetzhan Yesimov noted that the city of Almaty has 106 hotels (including 26 3-4-5 star hotels) which are able to accommodate 10,000 people. “However the city is growing, developing. It is a tourist center. Therefore, the demand for new hotels is increasing, especially taking in consideration major events, including Student Games- 2017," he said. The mentioned projects will be funded with private investments. Members of the Architecture and city planning department noted the need to use renewable energy while implementing the projects. Almaty is the major commercial and cultural centre of Kazakhstan, as well as its largest population center.
