Shaikh Nasser, Shaikh Khalid visit Sandhurst academy

London, Aug. 10 (BNA): Royal Guard Commander Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid a visit today to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, in the United Kingdom, at an invitation from its Commandant to attend a graduation ceremony of officer cadets batch number 173. They were welcomed on arrival by the academy Commandant, officers and teachers from the academy. Bahraini Officer Cadet Abdullah Al-Sayed Attiyah was one of the graduates in this batch. He graduated with honour in addition to making an unprecedented historical achievement being the only officer who obtained three distinction prizes in the history of the academy. They are the Sword of Honour Prize, the Military and Academic Excellence Prize and the Sport Excellence Prize. Brigadier Shaikh Nasser and Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa congratulated the graduates and met Officer Cadet Abdullah Al-Sayed Attiyah and congratulated him on the honourable result which reflects the civilisational and competitive spirit of the Bahraini youth in this glorious academy which specialises in grooming officers all over the world.
