Sharjah Air Wing rescues six sailors

Sharjah: Members of Sharjah Air Wing have rescued six Indian sailors after high waves swept their ship 10 miles away from the coast of the Emirate of Sharjah. The ship was coming from a neighbouring country and was about to capsise yesterday morning, after entering Sharjah Creek westward, due to waves caused by the current bad weather. On the rescue plane, medical staff provided first aid for the six sailors and provided them with the necessary medical care, transferring them to Al Qasimi Hospital for treatment. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
