Sharjah Media Centre ‘interested’ in implementing joint projects with AZERTAC

Baku, April 25, AZERTAC Chairman of the Sharjah Media Centre Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi has expressed interest in implementing joint projects with AZERTAC as he met with the agency`s Director General Aslan Aslanov. “The development of relations between Sharjah Media Centre and AZERTAC would contribute to the expansion of UAE-Azerbaijan cooperation in fields of culture and tourism, and will also bring the two nations closer to each other,” he sat at the meeting which took place at AZERTAC headquarters. “The joint projects would play an importance role in strengthening cooperation between the media outlets of our countries,” Mr Ahmed Al Qasimi said. Director General Aslanov provided an insight into the activity and international relations of AZERTAC. “We have bilateral agreements with several Arabian news agencies, including Emirates News Agency. We maintain successful cooperation in regional and international media alliances,” said Mr Aslanov. He hailed the role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in developing relations between the two countries, adding that as a result of President Ilham Aliyev`s successful policy these ties further expanded in a variety of fields. Sheikh Ahmed Al Qasimi highlighted the activity of the Sharjah Media Centre. He said he would do his utmost to develop relations and information exchange between the two media agencies.
