Sheikh Al-Azhar Confirms Azhar's Stand By All Iraqis In To Face Challenges That Target Their Unity, Security And Stability

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - The Grand Mufti of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Ahmed Al-Tayeb affirmed Al-Azhar's stand on the side of all Iraqis in facing challenges that target their unity, security and stability. "The Ambassador of Iraq to the Arab League in Egypt, Habib Al-Sadr met with the Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Ahmed Al-Tayeb," a foreign ministry statement said. The ambassador stressed Iraq's need for the efforts of Al-Azhar in its fight against terrorism, added "The voice of Al-Azhar reaches the hearts of Iraqis and all Muslims in the world because it is the voice for wisdom, reason and balance, and represents the true essence of Islam," For his part, Sheikh Al-Azhar praised the efforts of Iraq to occupy the leading position in the Arab world as one of the pillars of Arab security, as it defeated terrorism and overcome many of the challenges that passed through, stressing Al-Azhar stand by all Iraqis in to face the challenges that target their unity, security and stability./ End
