Shura Council chairman congratulates Amal Salman

Manama, July 1 (BNA): Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh sent a cable of congratulations to Amal Salman Al-Dosary following her success in the elections of the United Nations (UN) Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Al Saleh praised the influential role of Bahraini women and their ability to compete and prove their merit and distinction in various regional and international fields. He described Salman’s ability to win the membership of a key UN committee as a new exploit for Bahraini diplomacy that reflects the International Community’s confidence in Bahrain, It also proves the kingdom’s prestigious status at international organizations, he said.
