Shura Foreign Affairs Committee stresses support to Saudi Arabia

Manama, Oct.29 (BNA): The Shura Council strongly condemned the continued terrorist attacks perpetrated by the Iran-backed Houthi militias, targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee voiced the stance, commending the vigilance of the coalition forces which intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile heading to Najran, in addition to six bomb-laden drones, thus targeting Saudi security and stability and the safety of citizens and residents. Chaired by Youssef Al-Ghatam, the committee reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against all that threatens its security, stability and territorial integrity. It said that the terrorist attack represents a flagrant violation of international laws and norms and threatens the security and stability of the region.
