Sinchon Museum Visited by 722 000 People over One Year

Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- Over 722 000 service personnel and people from all walks of life and school youth and children of more than 9 580 units, overseas Koreans and foreigners visited the Sinchon Museum for the past one year after its remodeling. At least 105 000 people visited it just in July this year. The museum was open to public last year on the 62nd anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. Exhibits and visual aids laying bare the cruelty and brutality of the man-killers are on display there. The U.S. imperialist aggressors made their way to Sinchon in the period of the temporary strategic retreat of the Korean People's Army during the Fatherland Liberation War and massacred over 35 000 patriotic and innocent people, one fourth of the then population of the county in less than two months. The visit helped the visitors harden their pledge to annihilate the aggressors to the last man with a merciless barrage of fire and to give vent to the pent-up grudge of the Korean people without missing a golden chance if the U.S. imperialists start another war on this land. -0-
