Singapore DPRK-U.S. Summit Hailed in Russia

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Russian bodies made public statements to welcome the DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks in Singapore. The Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism said it was deeply stirred by the news about the historic DPRK-U.S. summit held in Singapore, adding: The meeting between the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the U.S. president is of great significance and proved that the only dialogue and negotiation can defuse the tensions on the Korean Peninsula. We pay our heartfelt tribute to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is energetically working for peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and the region. The Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK said the achievements made in the Singapore DPRK-U.S. summit in the wake of the historic north-south summit meetings are the brilliant fruit of the far-sightedness and outstanding political ability of Kim Jong Un, adding that the world speaks well of his political ability. The Moscow Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said in a statement that the Singapore DPRK-U.S. summit was recorded as an important moment in the history of DPRK-U.S. relations and Kim Jong Un once again showed his will to achieve peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula this time.
