Slovak Artist Exhibition to be Held in Malaysia From May 26-June 10

KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 (Bernama) -- An exhibition called "Metamorphoses: Human, Symbol, Letters", showcasing the drawings of the most renowned Slovakian artist, Miroslav Cipar will be held here from May 26 to June 10. About 66 pieces of Cipar's drawings, who is best known as an illustrator of more than 300 books, a celebrated installation artist, painter and sculptor will be displayed. The exhibition, is scheduled to be opened by the Slovak Ambassador to Malaysia, Milan Lajciak on May 25 at Wisma Kebudayaan Soka-Gakkai Malaysia, said Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) in a statement Tuesday. "There will be screening sessions on Slovakia in the exhibition hall on weekends during the exhibition period and Children Drawing Activities on May 27, June 3 and June 10," it added. The exhibition, organised by the Embassy of Slovak Republic and Soka Gakkai Malaysia, is open daily from 11am to 6pm daily while admission is free.
