Small Vessels Not Allowed To Go To Sea

Pontianak, W Kalimantan, Jan 9 (ANTARA) - Small vessels with a capacity of less than 1,000 GT were not allowed to go to the sea in Pontianak, West Kalimantan on extreme weather. "It is too risky to go to the sea with sea waves rising as high as 5 to 7 meters", Suhardi, the head of the Pontianak unit of coast guards, said here on Wednesday. Coast guards told ten small motor vessels to stay in the port of Pontianak until the condition improved.
