SOFAZ Executive Director attends 6th meeting of International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds

Baku, November 21, AzerTAc Executive Director of Azerbaijan`s State Oil Fund (SOFAZ), Shahmar Movsumov, has participated in the 6th annual meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) in the Qatari capital of Doha. Hosted by the Qatar Investment Authority, the meeting convened senior officials of Sovereign Wealth Funds from more than 24 countries from across the world, and senior representatives from multilateral organizations, private sector, and academia. The International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds was established by the International Working Group of Sovereign Wealth Funds in Kuwait City in 2009, with its first official meeting hosted by Baku the same year.
