Soldiers’ martyrdom proof of Bahrain's commitment to supporting Arab causes

Manama, Sept. 5 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to his His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, after the martyrdom of many brave soldiers during military operations of the Arab coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia in Yemen. The minister added that the martyrs gave their lives for their countries and nation and became exemplary role models in defending justice and upholding their national duty as their heroic and patriotic acts will continue to be a shining beacon for future generations to follow. The martyrs made every effort without fearing their brutal enemy and so they became a great example for all those who want to serve their countries, defend their unity and cohesion and defeat who seek to cause harm to their security and safety. The Foreign Minister said "as we present our sincere condolences and sympathy to our leadership and to our brothers the United Arab Emirates leadership, people and the families of the martyrs, we pray to Allah Almighty to grant the heroes forgiveness, heavens and may they rest in peace after their great sacrifices and work in supporting justice and legitimacy in order to establish security and stability in Yemen. "We emphasize that the honorable efforts of the great soldiers and their courage and decisive positions will never be forgotten and shall remain forever in the consciousness of every Bahraini and every Arab," he said. "The martyrdom of our brave soldiers while meeting the call of duty is a clear proof of the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to supporting Arab causes and that Bahrain's contribution in operations Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope" as well as operation Golden Arrow to defend the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to support legitimacy in Yemen, restore its security and stability, achieve the aspirations of the people of Yemen in development and prosperity and stopping their suffering, in addition to defending the safety and security of the GCC and the entire Arab world." The minister affirmed that Bahrain will spare no effort and will continue to be supportive of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its pioneering role in the defense of Arab and Islamic issues, supporting the Arab and Islamic causes in all regional and international forums, sacrificing its soldiers for our Arab nation and sparing no efforts for leading progress initiatives to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the Arab people because Saudi is the strategic backbone of the Arab nation and is capable of providing a secure and prosperous future for their people and their countries.
