Solid waste treatment plant to be established in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ MS Resources LLC of South Korea has put forward a proposal to build up a solid waste treatment plant in Ulaanbaatar. The project is planned to take place under 100% financing of MS Resources. The plant will be capable to classify 500-1,000 ton of waste a day to produce building materials used in landfills. The company has applied to the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar to appeal for ownership rights of a landfill site in northern Ulaanbaatar for 15 years. The capital city of Mongolia annually disposes one million ton of household and industrial waste.
