Some 1,000 Publishers To Attend Shiraz Intl Book Fair

Shiraz, Fars prov, Dec 30, IRNA – Nearly 1,000 Iranian and foreign publishers are participating in the 12th Shiraz International Book Fair scheduled to open on January 5, 2014, director general of Fars province Department for Culture and the Islamic Guidance said on Sunday. Ahmad Hemmati-Boushehri told reporters that 40 international publishers will also take part in the book fair. The exhibition will display books in five halls Shiraz Permanent International Trade Fair, he noted. Hemmati further noted that peripheral programs include book contest, book reading and inviting authors to give comments about their books./end
