Some 13 Work Units Of Prosecutor's Office Win "WBK" Awards

SOME 13 WORK UNITS OF PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE WIN "WBK" AWARD Jakarta, Dec 11 (Antara) - A total of 13 work units within the Indonesian Prosecutor's Office have won the "Wilayah Bebas Korupsi (WBK)", or Corruption-Free Region award from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB). "The WBK title that we have received is a form of our courage and commitment to change all that have existed," Attorney General HM Prasetyo remarked in a statement here on Monday. The work units that have become the pioneers of change within the Prosecutor's Office, and received the award were the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, the Indonesian Prosecutor's Training Agency, the Bali High Prosecutor's Office, the Deli Serdang District Attorney, the Surabaya District Attorney, and the Bantul District Attorney. Next are the South Jakarta District Attorney, Gianyar District Attorney, Situbondo District Attorney, Belitung District Prosecutor's Office, Tanah Datar District Attorney, North Lampung District Attorney, and the Hulu Sungai Tengah District Attorney. In the meantime, Junior Attorney General Special Crime (JAM Pidsus) Adi Toegarisman said that it was time for the prosecutor's office to take part in the change program and not be satisfied with the WBK title alone. "The program does not stop at WBK, but we have to strive to get the Clean Serving Bureaucracy Region (WBBM) award. The JAM Pidsus ranks should reach the WBBM target, evaluated in one year ahead," Adi said. In 2018, of the 205 work units that succeeded in building the integrity zone, five work units included the title of Clean Serving Bureaucracy (WBBM), while 200 other work units received the title of Corruption-Free Areas (WBK). These results were obtained from 910 work units proposed to be able to get the title of WBK / WBBM this year.
