Southern Governor chairs meeting

Manama, June4 (BNA): Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa stressed keenness on following up citizens’ interests and ensuring their safety, in coordination with Government departments.  He made the statement as he chaired a meeting at the Southern Governorate, the session was attended by Southern Police director-general Brigadier Hamad bin Ali Al-Merri, Southern Municipality director-general Asem bin Abdulla Abdullatif and Southern Municipal Council chairman Ahmed Al-Ansari.  HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa stressed keenness on tackling the issue of the scrapyard in coordination with competent authorities and relocating it to another site.  He underscored the importance of collective work to scrutinize key issues and found adequate solution. He reiterated the Southern Governorate’s keenness on community partnership to serve citizens and maintain security and stability.
