Southern governor receives well-wishers

Manama, May 23 (BNA): Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received, during his weekly Majlis, well-wishers marking the holy month of Ramadan. Southern Governorate Police Director, Brigadier Hamad bin Ali bin Huweil Al-Meri, attended the Majlis which was held at the Southern Governorate’s premises.  HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali expressed pride in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s reception of the Southern Governorate’s citizens on Ramadan 1, which, he said, reflects the distinguished position enjoyed by the government and its citizens. Such meetings reflect the extent of leadership-citizen solidarity, and strengthen aspects cohesion and rapprochements among the members of society across the Southern Governorate, he said. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali pointed out that communication is a distinctive feature in the Southern governorate, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless Bahrain with ever-lasting prosperity, glory and security, under the leadership of HM King Hamad. The governor stressed that His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa’s directives to the Southern Governorate to coordinate with the Ministerial Committee for Construction and Infrastructure to submit a plan on the needs of the “Khalifa Town” concerning public services and facilities. HRH Premier’s directives are a roadmap to continue adopting and launching initiatives and projects that serve the Southern Governorate’s citizens and fulfill their aspirations, he said, stressing that the governorate’s development plans will be based on the Prime Minister’s directives and wise visions. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali said that the Southern Governorate’s work is based on communication with the citizens through regular meetings and field visits to identify the needs of the citizens on the ground. Those present lauded the speech delivered by HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali during HM the King’s reception of the Southern Governorate’s citizens, noting that the speech expressed their sincere allegiance to HM King Hamad’s leadership. They lauded the governor’s strenuous efforts to push the development and progress march forward in the Southern Governorate. They expressed sincere thanks to the governor for his keenness to meet the citizens during his visits their Majlises, at his weekly Majlis or during his field visits.
