Southern Governorate to mark National Action Charter anniversary

Manama, Feb. 12 (BNA): The Southern Governorate will host Ardha on Saturday (February 13) at 4:00 p.m at Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort, in Riffa, marking the 15th anniversary of the National Action Charter. It called on the Southern Governorate residents and all people in Bahrain to attend the event. The Southern Governorate Informatics and Follow-up Director Salah Shehab said the event, which will be animated by Bahraini Ardha Care Society, is a celebration hosted by the Southern Governorate under the directives of Southern Governor Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa. He called on all people in Bahrain to attend the festivities marking the anniversary of the National Action Charter, pointing out that CDs containing a collection of national songs will be distributed in the event. He stressed that the National Action Charter, for which the Bahraini people voted with a sweeping majority of 98.4% fifteen years ago, is a source of pride for all Bahrainis as it ushered in a new era of reforms and development spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
