Southern Governorate Police holds general safety awareness campaign for people with special needs

Manama, July 12 (BNA): Director-General of Southern Governorate Police announced today the organisation of an awareness campaign to break barriers between individuals with special needs and other members in society. The campaign was part of the directives of His Highness Southern Governor, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa to reinforce community partnership, and was held in coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs. It included the distribution of publications on safety conditions at home and road, especially for individuals with special needs. (MOI)
