Southern teachers discuss security measures

BANGKOK, May 13 (TNA) - Teachers in four southern border provinces, including Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat have held a meeting to discuss security measures before the school semester starts on May 16. Boonsom Thongsriprai, president of the Federation of Teachers in Southern Border Provinces, said he was confident with the current security plans, which focus on protecting teachers’ lives throughout their day. He said once schools reopen, there would be an evaluation report given to each province and the 4th Army commander. (TNA)
