Speaker congratulates Jordan on Independence Day

Manama, May 24 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdull Zainal, today sent cables of congratulations to Jordan’s House of Representatives Speaker, Atef Yusef Tarawneh, and Senate President, Faisal of the Akef Al-Fayez, on their country’s Independence Day. The speaker lauded the advanced level reached by relations between the two sisterly kingdoms, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty King Abdulla II of Jordan. She also affirmed the Representatives Council’s keenness to bolster parliamentary cooperation with Jordan in all fields.
