Speaker hails HRH Crown Prince’s efforts

Manama, June 25 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla hailed His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for visiting Ramadan majlisses across Bahrain. He stressed the importance of visits which, he said, contributed to cementing national unity and strengthening bonds between all segments which make up Bahraini society. He underlined the importance of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 which endorses vital initiatives aiming to bolster the role of the private sector so as to achieve sustainable development. "The 2030 blueprint, which is based on sustainability, competitiveness and justice, is the driving engine that paves the way for administrative and technical improvement in all sectors", he said. He pointed out that a total of 31 legislations had been promulgated to revitalise investments and protect society, describing the laws as the results of fruitful cooperation between the legislative and executive branches of government. The speaker commended the dedicated efforts of HRH the Crown Prince to achieve progress and prosperity under the reform project which was initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He reiterated the determination of the legislature to support the Crown Prince’s efforts, paying tribute to the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister, for supporting the strenuous drive to spearhead mega economic projects, attract capitals and investments and bolster Bahrain’s standing.
