Speaker reviews Bahraini-German relations with ambassador

Manama, Mar. 10 (BNA): Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal received German Ambassador to Bahrain Kai Boeckmann. Zainal praised the depth of relations between the Bahrain and Germany, and what they’re witnessing as outstanding interest in parliamentary cooperation, an increase in the field of investment and trade exchange, the joint concern for the security and stability of the region, the importance of supporting efforts development and peace, and the fight against terrorism. The speaker affirmed Bahrain's keenness, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to open wide and broad horizons of cooperation and understanding with Germany. The ambassador expressed his deep pride in the historical German-Bahraini relations, the joint interest to support security and stability in the region, support the global economy, and to achieve sustainable development goals. He stressed the importance of parliamentary support to strengthen cooperation in the areas of investment, the logistical services, the manufacturing industries and the services sector, noting that his country considers the Kingdom as an active partner.
