Speed of camel tested

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The speed of a long distance running camel has been recorded amid a provincial camel racing event in Bayankhongor province. At the racing, a total of 58 camels (50 Bactrian camels and 8 mixed breed of domestic and wild camels) ran 12-km distance. A camel (not-mixed) covered the distance in 28 minutes average, while a mixed-breed traversed it a bit quicker--in 26 minutes.
