STATE PRIZES AWARDED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 102nd anniversary of restoring the national freedom and independence of Mongolia, state prizes were awarded Thursday. Pursuant to the decree to the President Ts.Elbegdorj, the title of State Honored Athlete went to M.Urantsetseg, a judo world champion; D.Amartuvshin, a silver medalist of the Judo World Championship; G.Mandakhnaran, a bronze medalist of the FILA Wrestling World Championships. The title of State Honored Artist went to Ch.Ganchimeg, a solo ballet dancer of the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet; and Sh.Tsetseg, a teacher of the Institute of Cinematography. Other people received other State Honored titles. The Red Flag Order of Military Merit was bestowed upon Sh.Ganbat, a section head of the General Headquarters of Armed Forces; the Polar Star Order--upon G.Daandai, a veteran from the Chingeltei district. The Order of Military Merit, the Honorary Medal of Labour, the Honorary Medal of Military and the Medal for Loyalty were awarded to others.
