STATE PRIZES AWARDED TO POLISH PEOPLE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Mongolia-Poland diplomatic relations, state prizes of Mongolia have been awarded to some Polish citizens. By a decree of the Mongolia’s President, the Polar Star Order has been awarded to T.Slavetsky, the Poland’s Vice Minister of National Education; and the “Friendship” medal went to B.Yanovsky, the deputy director of the Department of External Relations and Cooperation at the Sejm (Lower house of the Parliament of Poland). During the granting ceremony took place Wednesday in the Embassy of Mongolia in Poland, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Poland Mr A.Ganbaatar congratulated the state prize laureates, underlining that these people significantly contributed to the bilateral relations. Mr Ganbaatar hoped that the Mongolia-Poland cooperation in education sphere will widen, and then expressed a willingness of Mongolia to enhance the ties between the Parliamentary Offices and exchange experiences. Present at the ceremony were representatives from Poland’s parliament, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of National Education.
