State Secretary of Germany's Health Ministry is visiting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Health has held a consultative meeting with visiting delegation headed by Ms Ulrike Flach, the Parliamentary State Secretary, German Federal Ministry of Health. The State Secretary of the Mongolia’s Health Ministry J.Khatanbaatar and his counterpart of Germany Ms Flach addressed the joint consultative meeting. They also have got acquainted with course of projects being co-implemented in the #1 hospital, #3 hospital and the National Center for Mothers and Infants (NCMI) by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the GIZ. Since signing the Declaration on Cooperation in Health and Medical Sectors in 2009, the countries designed direction of the health cooperation and activated the collaboration. By the cooperation document, the countries have been cooperating in exchanging medical experts on diagnosis and treatment of leukemia, in introducing new treatment protocol, strengthening the infection monitoring of health organizations, involving Mongolian doctors in mid-career training and sharing information and experiences. In addition, the German side donated to the NCMI and the #3 hospital medical facilities and equipment costing over EUR 600 thousand. The German delegation's visit will last until Friday.
