Students in Germany hold Mongolian Day

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian students of the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (FUMT) of Germany have held a Day of Mongolia in Freiberg city, Saxony. This event has attracted some 300 people such as Professor S.Rogler, a deputy director of the FUMT; K.Polansky, a leader of the International Center at the FUMT; the university’s students and the city’s residents. Attache of cultural and educational affairs of the Mongolian Embassy Mr Ch.Batbileg addressed an opening ceremony of an exhibition on Mongolian lifestyle within the event. He conveyed a greeting of the Mongolian Ambassador to the students, and underlined that the Mongolia-Germany cooperation have been expanding in all fields especially in the educational sector. On behalf of the Ambassador, Mr Batbileg expressed thanks to the FUMT for significant contributions to the bilateral educational collaboration. Then he granted to Professor Rogler a certificate of gratitude of the Mongolian Embassy. In response, professor Rogler thanked the Mongolian Embassy for supporting the educational cooperation between the countries, and expressed a satisfaction with training Mongolian students in the university. During the event, the Mongolian students have given a concert of national folk arts together with the “Khosoo & Trans Mongolia” group, and mounted a photo exhibition. A video presentation and a questionnaire contest have been made as well.
