Supreme Health Council Chairman meets insurance companies

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): Chairman of the Supreme Health Council Lt. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa met local and foreign insurance companies as part of intensive and direct work with all consultative parties in the Health Insurance Project in Bahrain. He highlighted Bahrain's conception of the practical phase of the project, pointing out the strategy based on direct communication with all relevant parties, including insurance companies as well as local and international consultative bodies in the health sector. Secretary General of the Supreme Health Council Ibrahim Al-Nawakhdha said the aim of the meeting is to learn about the experiences of relevant companies and their readiness to work with the government as a partner to reach the best practices in implementing the insurance project through cooperation between the public and private sectors.
