Supreme Judicial Council President meets Egyptian counterpart

Cairo, May 31 (BNA): President of the Supreme Judicial Council and Head of the Cassation Court Chancellor Salim bin Mohammed Al Kuwari met in Cairo today his Egyptian counterpart Chancellor Mohammed Hossam Abdulrahim. The meeting was held on the sidelines of Chancellor Al Kuwari's visit to Egypt to take part in a preliminary meeting on May 30 and 31 to discuss the protocol of setting up the Arab Federation for Administrative Courts. He stressed that the Supreme Judicial Council aims to boost cooperation between Bahrain and Egypt in the judicial and human rights field as well as raise awareness of the need for concerted efforts to achieve justice and equality. He lauded Egypt's strategic depth for the Arab world, in general, and Bahrain, in particular, which will contribute to further upgrading the judiciary and bolstering bilateral cooperation.
