Switzerland, Azerbaijan may abolish visa regime

Baku, Azerbaijan, August 1 By Elchin Mehdiyev - Trend: The visa regime may be abolished between Switzerland and Azerbaijan, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Mahmud Mammadguliyev said on August 1. He underscored that the two countries have completed the negotiations on the visa regime and readmission. "We hope that these documents will be signed and ratified in the near future," the deputy minister said. Once this process is completed, the holders of diplomatic and service passports will be able to travel without visa, while the number of the required documents and the fee will be reduced for the ordinary citizens. "We may also agree on the complete abolition of the visa regime in the future," Mammadguliyev added.
