"Currently we are putting final touches to a new strategy for the development of the space industry," Rogozin said. "We will be working under a new program for armaments as of 2018." "The combat experience gained in Syria is a strong argument for the industry to get down to creating high-tech systems, including robots. There is going to be a far more research-intense industry and more investment in re-equipping the manufacturing facilities," Rogozin said. "In this respect the military-industrial commission hopes for all-round support from the Prosecutor-General’s Office in its efforts to putting the allocated funds to use most effectively with the net effect of building a country that will proceed along its own way, be independent in making decisions and enjoy everybody’s respect," Rogozin said at a special meeting timed for the 295th anniversary of the Russian Prosecutor’s Office.
