Tajik media activist calls for OANA’s leading role in fight against media terrorism

Tehran, IRNA – Managing Director of Tajikistan’s Khovar News Saidali Siddik said on Tuesday that the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) has to be leading in the fight against media terrorism. He made the remarks in an interview with IRNA correspondent on the sidelines of the 18th OANA General Assembly meeting in the Iranian capital. Siddik hailed Iran’s hosting of the event and said that the meeting was held at a very high level. He said that Khovar News has offered an official request for membership in OANA which will be considered in the next meeting of the Organization.
